The Diesel boot is our rendition of the classic plain-toe boot pattern—combining Goodyear-welt construction with time-proven leather uppers, lining, and insoles. It features larger eyelets and speed hooks for leather laces, an external heel counter cover and backstay, and the comfort of the Leo last.

"I was nervous ordering these as I was diagnosed with a Haglund's spur on the back of the heel, and had a bad time with 9. 5D. Wyatt suggested I try a 9. 5E, and I am cautiously optimistic about these. Otherwise, these are superb, as expected. Build quality is second-to-none and there's just nothing like walking on vege-tanned leather. The wedge sole is unobnoxious but still thick enough to take some real wear. And the Stead suede (in which I have two other pairs from GS already) is my favorite!"
